10/13/08 at 16:23This ex RAN Firefly MK 6 is owned and operated by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and has been repainted in the “Royal Canadian Navy” colour scheme. WH632 was built in 1951 and served with the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve in UK before being transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1953. It was retired from the RAN in 1960 and ended up in the Camden Museum of Aviation, New South Wales. This aircraft was acquired by the Canadian Museum in 1979 and is still flying at Museum Air Days in Canada. |
